33rd Infantry, (4th Reserves), First State Color. The 33rd was composed of men from Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Lycoming, Monroe, Susquehanna, and Chester counties. They received their first state color on September 10, 1861, which was retired on December 17, 1863 when the regiment received a replacement.
